Adjusting the tone controls on your product

You can use the audio equalization controls of your product to adjust the sound quality to your liking. Learn how to access the available EQ settings.

To adjust bass:

Note: Bass reduction is available on systems with software 040401 or later. Earlier software has a Talk Radio setting to reduce bass for AM/FM radio. For more info, see Setting Talk Radio mode.
  1. On the remote control, press and hold Alarm Setup (Menu) until -SETUP MENU- appears on the system display
  2. Press the Tune/MP3 > button repeatedly to select BASS
  3. Press Time + or Time – to select NORMAL or REDUCED
    Note: This setting applies to all audio played from your system
  4. Press Alarm Setup (Menu) or wait 10 seconds to exit the menu.
There is no setting to adjust treble.
