Sound input source changes unexpectedly
If the audio you are listening to from your system changes to the audio from a different device connected to your system on its own (i.e. changing from TV sound to an AUX device), try the following:
Make sure the correct button is pressed.
Be careful to press the correct button to activate a desired command. If the wrong button is pressed, or if multiple buttons are pressed at the same time, the system will not respond properly.
Be sure your system is not in Demo mode.
Demo mode is used for in-store displays. In case this mode was accidentally enabled—or if this is a newer system that was purchased as an open-box item—check that Demo mode is disabled. For more info, see Turning off Demo mode.
Be sure the remote control sensor on your product is not in direct light.
If the remote sensor on your product is in a very bright area (i.e. in excessive sunlight or lighting, nearby a bright TV or laptop screen, etc.), the light interference could affect the ability of your product to detect the IR light commands from your remote control. If there is excessive light on your product, try reducing it.
Reset your product.
Much like rebooting a smartphone, your product might need to be reset on occasion to correct minor issues. For more info, see Resetting your product.
Your product may need service.
If the steps provided do not resolve your issue, your product may need service. Follow the link below for more information on how to service your product. Depending on your product and region, you will be provided a contact number or the ability to setup service online.
