Using a power inverter with your product:
A power inverter may be needed in situations where battery power is available. The power inverter will convert the DC power from the battery to AC power to power your devices. For these situations, modified sine-wave inverters are recommended since they provide a lower crest factor waveform than the 1.4 crest-factor of a pure sine wave. It is superior to a square-wave for harmonic content in the waveform and is generally the preferred technology.
