Yvonne Hao joined the Bose Board of Directors in 2022. She is a co-founder and operating advisor for Cove Hill Partners, a private equity firm investing in software and digital consumer companies. Previously, Yvonne served as chief operating officer and chief financial officer at online pharmacy startup PillPack. And she also has experience at industry-leading firms including Bain Capital and McKinsey & Co., as well as executive and strategic roles at Honeywell Security.

Yvonne’s favourite live concert memory is seeing Nirvana play a New Year’s Eve show in 1993 and joining the mosh pit for one of the iconic grunge band’s final U.S. performances.

Yvonne earned a bachelor’s degree with honours in economics and Asian studies from Williams College. She received the Herschel Smith Fellowship and completed her master’s of philosophy in development economics from Cambridge University.
